We are seeking an Asset Management Engineer

Primary Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for managing the reliability and availability (performance) of allocated production-related assets to ensure that the allocated assets can deliver a strategic plan for Adra Customers in Western Australia. In addition, this role will foster relationships with existing clients, develop relationships with new clients, and assist with the implementation of new Adra Asset Management products.

Responsibilities

In fulfilling the primary purpose of the position, the incumbent will perform the following in compliance with Adra systems and Client requirements:

  1. Perform Integrity and Condition Assessment inspections on fixed plant in accordance with Adra/Client Asset Management System;
  2. Compile engineering reports summarising inspection findings and subsequent recommendations;
  3. Prepare & submit proposals for remedial/follow-up works;
  4. Perform Project Engineering/management services for execution of remedial works with Adra personnel and external contractors as required;
  5. Monitor completed remedial works and provide feedback on effectiveness;
  6. Participate in continuous improvement for Asset Management Systems;
  7. Complete inductions and training as organised and directed by Adra;
  8. Assist with tender submissions and quoting.
  9. Research and implement new technologies to improve asset performance and longevity; and,
  10. Meet Adra KPI’s and report progress back to Adra Line Manager.

Key Selection Criteria

To achieve the purpose of the position, the following attributes are required:

  1. Flexible for travel
  2. High level of communication and interpersonal skills;
  3. Mech/Structural/Civil Engineering background or similar site experience;
  4. Leadership skills;
  5. Experience in working with external contractors to meet the requirements of key stakeholders;
  6. Sound understanding of Asset Management, Product Lifecycle Management and conditioning monitoring of fixed plant and assets.
  7. Ability to delivery presentations to key stakeholders.

Other relevant skills, knowledge and experience

  1. Understanding of balanced machines, cranes, structures, materials handling equipment, process equipment, infrastructure, civil works
  2. Understanding of codes and standards
  3. Personal attributes; Personable, organised, adaptable, quick learner, honest, fit, comfortable with heights and confined spaces, diligent, professional, integrity, conscientious, resilient, creative, compassionate, fair & understanding.
  4. Current Australian drivers licence and Passport with no criminal records or court proceedings
  5. Business Development / Entrepreneurial skills is beneficial.
